Where exactly is Waldameer?

Waldameer is located in Erie, Pennsylvania. This is an amusement park that we have never even heard of until a friend of ours told us we should make it a point to visit here since it was in our path of our Theme Park Tour. We visited the park on a rainy, but muggy day and we pretty much had the entire park to ourselves.

The ride review...

I have always been a fan of spinning roller coasters and this one is no different as it is a very fun experience. The only downside to this ride is that it is situated in a bad area and smelled of manure during the ride. The combination of the spinning and the smell is not for those with a weak stomach!

Ravine Flyer III is a kiddie coaster at Waldameer Park, manufactured by E&F Miler Industries! This is a steel roller coaster at the park that is uniquely situated over a small body of water.

Ravine Flyer III was installed at the park 8 years before Ravine Flyer II as the 2nd Ravine Flyer had been in the works for quite some time. While this is a kiddie coaster at the park, adults are allowed to ride the roller coaster.

Arrived at 11:05am, it's pouring

We arrived to the park at 11:05 am and it just started to downpour as we got here. We decided to sit in the car for a few minutes to wait the rain out and once it slowed down, we entered the park to walk around for a little bit. We didn't get very far into the park and it started to downpour once again. This was on and off for the first hour that we were here, which was OK because the rides weren't going to start opening until 12 noon, with other rides opening at 1pm.
